Vice President of OpenSail, Amber began her career in the Salon & Spa Industry, and she, therefore, came to the agency with an in-depth understanding of the power of combining digital touchpoints with in-person business consulting. In the Salon & Spa Industry, Amber’s secret to success was a dedication to the people with whom she built relationships, and her passion for helping them grow their businesses. She did this by offering industry-specific training, coaching, and one-on-one mentoring. To enable her to keep in touch with and support her clients when it was most convenient for their busy schedule, Amber started a closed Facebook group for her clients and not only successfully positioned herself as a source of expert insight and a meaningful business partner, but also sparked a digital marketing force to be reckoned with as well!

It was her own foray into the world of digital marketing, and the rest is history! She took the plunge and dove head first into full-time digital marketing in 2015. Since then, Amber has gone from strength to strength, rising through the ranks at OpenSail to get to where she is today. It was Amber that spearheaded OpenSail’s expansion into Social Media Advertising, and she is a Facebook Blueprint Certified Social Media Advertising professional. Today, her main focus is working with and supporting our team, and clients, and big picture planning. Dedicated to building a trusting, and highly collaborative work environment, Amber believes when everyone feels comfortable enough to be open with, and feels supported by their teammates the whole team becomes unstoppable! 

At home, Amber’s front doormat appropriately reads “Welcome to the Jungle”. Not only are she and her green thumbs trying their utmost to turn her living room into her very own Amazonian jungle retreat; when she’s not repotting or planting, she’s taming the wildlings that fill her home with love and laughter. She and husband Curtis enjoy spontaneous jam sessions, dance parties in the kitchen and all the chaos that comes from raising their two little wildlings, Carter and Connor.
